Malu Janssen (born 1989 in Eindhoven) is a screenwriter and director living in Amsterdam. After studying theater and film at Utrecht University, she enrolled at the Netherlands Film Academy, where she graduated in 2016 with a degree in fiction directing.

His debut feature film , WE ARE LIGHT , is in advanced development, telling the story of a small community that gives up food to live on light, with far-reaching consequences.
