In a small house on the edge of the steppe, a child confined to a wheelchair struggles even to pick up a spoonful of porridge. His father, on the brink of despair, finds a glimmer of hope, however, when one day the TV broadcasts the landing of a new robot on Mars. A tender and powerful story, dedicated to all parents who never stop fighting for their children.

Zhanna Bekmambetova was born in Tashkent and raised in Moscow. A graduate in animation film set design from VGIK, her debut film Tweet-Tweet (2018) won awards at international festivals, including Best Animated Short Film at the Shanghai IFF. She loves drawing caricatures, often inspired by friends and her daughter Sonya.
