The film offers a stylized portrait of Bedouin boxer Reem Al Shammary, driven by a desire to achieve Olympic qualification and inspire a new generation of women to fight against gender inequality in Jordan.
The struggle, which continues, for women's liberation from the subtle and not-so-subtle forms of machismo, takes on new and creative forms.

Mattia Ramberti born in Rome in 1990. After working for several years as a writer and creative producer for VICE and FremantleMedia, he directed his debut feature “Yoshi Funabashi” in 2021 and won the award for best portrait film at the Berlin Fashion Film Festival and more than 30 selections at international festivals. This is his most recent work.
