A young ethnic Bunong woman and her older brother spend one last day in their rural village in northeast Cambodia before their imminent move to the capital in search of a more prosperous life. While her brother is excited about the move, she feels a silent longing to return to their village, which disappeared a few years earlier due to the construction of a nearby hydroelectric dam, which submerged it.

Polen Ly born in 1989 in Cambodia interrupted his medical studies to pursue filmmaking in 2012. He has directed several short films and documentaries exploring social issues related to the environment, human rights, and LGBT+ and indigenous experiences, winning several awards at international festivals. He was selected for the 72nd Berlinale Short Competition
