Ed Antoja is a Catalan filmmaker with extensive experience in documentary filmmaking (Empatía, Cuando un sueño se hace realidad) and audiovisual production. Trained at New York University, the Escuela de Cine de Cuba, and the University of California, he founded his production company, La Diferencia, with which he has been working for over twenty years. Donde se quejan los pinos marks his debut in fiction and has quickly become one of the standout titles of the Spanish season, boasting an impressive festival run and a strong social component.
