Furxhi

After graduating in Film History and Criticism at the University of Turin, Lia Furxhi worked as a production manager for some of Italy's most important independent films, including those by Davide Ferrario, Daniele Gaglianone, and Gianluca Tavarelli.

 

He has held various roles in numerous cultural initiatives, collaborating in the organization of festivals (FilmBreve, Sottodiciotto Film Festival, CinemAmbiente) and in the creation of the National Short Film Center.

 

He has edited several publications, including Le forme del corto (2007), the first field study dedicated to Italian short films. Since 2013, he has been president of AIACE – Italian Association of Friends of Arthouse Cinema.
